Legendary Rock Band Wings to Raise Curtains for Sunday Night Live at Hard Rock Cafe KL
Kuala Lumpur, 3 September 2019 –
Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur today announced the launch of Sunday Night Live
(SNL), a platform for local artists to perform at the established venue every
two months.
Legendary rock band Wings will be the first group to perform at SNL
with others to be announced at a later date.
Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur
opened its doors to the public in 1991, serving fresh and authentic American
cuisine, alongside pitch-perfect live entertainment. The cafe has since been a
highly sought after venue for global and local artists to perform.
“As a restaurant and hospitality
brand with a global footprint, we are committed in our support towards
promoting local artists and SNL is created for this very purpose,” said Ranjit
Singh, General Manager of Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur.
“This platform will
feature popular and established artists along with some new faces giving fans
an opportunity to catch their favourite artists live.”
Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur plans
to hold its bi-monthly SNL beginning October 2019. The venue is equipped with
state-of-the-art audio and lighting technology which will allow these artists
to fully demonstrate their sound and abilities to their fans.
Wings who will be kickstarting
the outlet’s SNL will be performing with original members Awie (Vocals), Eddie
(Bass), Black (Drums) supported by Edri and Sham (Lead Guitars) on Sunday, 6
October 2019.
